My Kaleidoscope Inspired Baby Shower
Pregnancy is not always the easiest journey, so I'm convinced mamas-to-be need a day to focus on the positive and bring together family and friends in an epic way. I felt lucky to have an all-star team for my own baby shower, now published on 100 Layer Cakelet here. These favorite vendors of mine totally blew my mind with this event - as you'll soon see with these images from Megan Welker!
I wanted to have an anti baby shower, and have it feel more like a laid back, epic party with my favorite ladies. I worked with Christy from To La Lune with our kaleidoscope inspired design that was bright, vibrant and fun, but still had a bit of edginess with pops of black. Instead of games, guests were treated with a photo booth and a bar with custom cocktails, set to a great DJ set. One of my favorite pieces of the shower was the laser cut geometric backdrop adorned with fresh flowers by Nic Roc Designs and L&S Design Co.
As a vendor myself, I sometimes forget what it's like to be on the other side of the party, and what a special day this was to me. I'm sincerely blown away by the talent of my peers, and it filled my heart to see it all come together with one amazing party.
Such beautiful work from all these vendors that I whole-heartedly love. You guys set a new bar for baby showers.
